JON & STACEY {ONE KING WEST TORONTO WEDDING}

I had the privilege of capturing Jon and Stacey's beautiful day at One King West in Toronto. Years ago this venue was a bank, now a residence, hotel and banquet hall. The old building is filled with character. We had the opportunity to use the vault for photography along with some other really cool spots like the chairmans boardroom. The day was lovely and unfolded without a hitch. J & S had their first look before the ceremony as well as all the other portraits so they could fully enjoy every minute of their day alongside their guests.

I was touched in so many ways but wasn't prepared for this. During Jon's speech he really touched my heart when he spoke of being thankful for what we have. He told a true story of a blind homeless man he found in the cold streets. He helped him to a warm place and the man told Jon he was so thankful and believed that a greater force brought the two of them together that night. Well Jon thought the opposite, the greater force was brought them together so Jon would know just how lucky he was. We all need moments like these from time to time to give ourselves a reality check. Jon, I cried like a baby but needed that so much. Thank you!
