Before & After

There is a lot involved when doing post processing work for digital images.  I generally have a good idea or sometimes just know exactly how I want to edit a photo when I take it.
In this case it was Jennifer & Jay's Indian reception date and they hired me to capture some moments of them and loved ones in the park before the reception. This was a sunny day so most of the sky and clouds were blown out.  If I made Jay's face any lighter the background would be even more blown out.  I could have filled his face with flash, but I am a natural light lover and I didn't want to loose the natural shadows in his face.  Here I have added in some clouds to the background and adjusted the light on Jay's face.  I have to tell you, Im a little cloud happy I think and want to add this in to so many images I take now, lol.
